Does JS show sound loading activity in the status line while the drop-outs happen?

No, made sure sounds were loaded first. Test also by clicking on kit instruments aok.

I've reverted back to 3.2 for now as it seems to be last stable version.

My Bad. This bug looks like it was introduced in 3.2 as I just got the same behaviour..only half the beats playing first time round.

This effectively kills js3 for live use ralph, it is intermittent.

Reverting to 3.1 to see if I can get back to a stable version.

Please do this:

- enable 'Full Debug Log' in JS3 Options
- recreate the issue
- close host
- send me latest rzdlog.txt file
- disable 'Full Debug Log' in JS3 Options

Thanks!

I'm trying to work out what I can do to "reset" songs so this behaviour does not happen.
SO far I try a combination of the following, after I open a saved livelooped song.
. Click go to first bar (not sure why, but this is not always at the start, no matter if song is saved there.)
. Open large display

Seems to work "most" of the time, but not 100%.

Would it be possible to automatically rest a song to the first bar, including display, when you open it?

UPDATE: It seems if I rewind every time I load a song *so far* it seems to work ok. If this could be done automatically would be great.

Any update on how things are going ray?
Is everything ok?

All OK here aside from a F3 Tornado going by REALLY close on Saturday:)

So, if you hit the 'Rewind' button (go to bar 1) it works okay?

I saw some footage of recent tornado in mississippi near a friends panents housein Jacskon...wild stuff http://youtu.be/jrkzBpeybkc

I can sympathise after a 1000 aftershocks post 3/11 and a multi nuke meldown still making us watch the rad counter and winds...fortunately we didn't get tsunami's in Tokyo...yet...

So far, if I am diligent it seems to work. It would be good if you could make it when you save a song it automatically resets it to bar 1, or on loading resets automatically to bar 1. I've noticed that the bar settings vary when loading songs (ie: bar number played too), but when you hit play (without rewind for example), it starts from bar 1. This used to work ok, but from a few versions ago the dropouts in the first pattern run through started to happen.

Does that make sense?

Hi, Ralph. It's probably the longest time since we don't have an update on JS, so does it mean lowering pace of development or big surprises? Wink

There are some pending problems as well, so I'm holding my drum tracks.

Thanks

This beta is very stable in the past months I have been using it.
I have noticed two things. I am not sure if it has been in previous versions or not.

First. As discussed in a thread in the support forum, on occasion, some "hidden" notes will be getting played that do not show up in the groove, accent, or fill, bar editors. Tricky to get rid of them. Can't give much detail on it though. I know it is not much help.

Second. Occasionally, the GUI gets confused about whether it is in JS or JC mode. For example, add some drums to a part, then switch to JC and edit the JC part. Close the GUI while still in JC mode. When I open it back up, the JC is still lit up blue but the editor is showing me the drums mode. I can't remember what happens if I try to edit from here but it is easily fixed by clicking on the JS mode to "resyncronize" the editor. Then if I want JC mode click back on JC mode and all is fine.
Sincerely,
J.L.

Yes, I've seen both these happen from time to time too.
