|
|
Hello,
I have a project that uses 2.5.3 beta 14, everything fine except that:
- When dragging the song to the arrangement and putting the plugin in Drum module mode, some bars are completely blank.
- When freezing the plugin (the Jamstix freeze, not the host freeze) some notes are missing, like Jamstix frees samples even if they are used.
The song has been played from end to end many times for months without ever rearranging a single bar, so I'm pretty sure dragging should copy the full arrangement.
I'm going to keep the arrangement as it is even though I would have liked to bring the notes into the host or freeze Jamstix2 to save memory.
Of course I can also record the MIDI output, but wanted to report anyway the issues I'm having.
The host is REAPER 3.76pre1 or 3.75; I have also the known problem that sometimes I loose the whole arrangement when saving, but since the whole drum part is stable I have saved the Jamstix2 song and reload it when it happens.
Main question is: is there some issue about this kind of problems that has been dealt with in v3?
Thank you,
Mario |

Blank bars in MIDI export mean you need to play the song through from start to finish before exporting.
Not sure about the freeze issue, V3 may fix this. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Playing the song from start to end in the current session cured the first problem (I though playing the whole song in a previous session was enough, didn't know it has to be done in the current session for drag'n'drop to be complete).
Will soon jump on V3 and report if the second problem is there again.
Thank you,
