|
|
In the Song window (but also occurred in the Options window when i tried it), the Rotary Knobs get set to zero for the current part when i Left Click on them - then the Cursor dissapears (while still holding the left mouse button down) then when i release it the Arrow/Cursor appears in the top left hand corner of my main screen (i.e. am running two screens) - The adjusting of values using the horizontal bars is fine. No crashes or anything else happen and no other part is effected. The zero setting of the problem rotary knob seems to then effect the pattern as if it actually has been set to zero as the GUI indicates - so it is not just a visual error.
Any ideas what this problem could be?
Tech Setup:
Happened in Jamstix 3, 3.02 and the new 3.1 beta 5
Am running Cubase 5.5.2 (32bit) on Vista Ultimate (64 bit OS- Aero -off), (also occurred on Cubase 5.1 and 5.5 ), Audio is RME Fireface 400 (processors - 2 xeon quad 5000 - 24g RAM ) |

Does this also happen when holding the SHIFT key while adjusting the knob? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Yes - both with and without the shift key held (& also when the shift key is pressed both before or after the mouse is pressed).
I did notice this time that it doesnt seem get set to zero until I actually move the mouse (while still holding down the mouse left button) - if I can manage to not move the mouse (even the slightest movement sets the knob to zero) then, while the button is down the cursor has dissapeared & when I release it the Rotary now stays at its original value and the cursor is at the top left hand corner of the main screen. (Sorry, I hadn't noticed this before because even the slightest movement which easily occurs while seemingly only pressing the Left button, sets the knob to zero) - thanks for such a quick response R
Congrats on the product as well - cheers |
