Running 32 bit, Windows 7.

Seem to have lots of strange (and very annoying) crashes, freezes etc when using Jamstix 3 in Sonar 8.5. Never get a crash log, Sonar just shuts down unexpectedly, no warning, no nothing. Or Sonar freezes to the point where I have to shut the computer down and restart to get control. (even in task manager I cannot kill the sonarpdr process and so I cannot restart Sonar)

All I can say is that I can work on a Sonar 8.5 project for hours and hours without jamstix in it and Sonar always stays up. As soon as I start using Jamstix I never know when the project will crash. And again, no crash log from Sonar or Jamstix....just blip and then gone. I have to believe this is some kind if issue with the combination of Win 7 - Jamstix - Sonar 8.5.

I have taken to recording the midi from Jamstix and then deleting Jamstix from synth rack but this is a real pain.

Any suggestions ??

I used to have similar problems with sonar 8.5
I have found that switching jamstix off (without unloading it) in the synth rack before project saving and sonar closing resolves crash at sonar loading and persistent service after closing, on my machine.
It is not comfortable, because you have to THINK to this (and switching on after project loading), but it helps.
