Hi, I just got Jamstix yesterday and an Akai MPK49 keyboard about a month ago. I can assign a parameter within jamstix to a cc number easy enough but it doesn't seem to stay assigned when a new part is added to a song or the style is changed. What can I do to make sure parameters stay assigned all the time? Question

Can you give me an example of a parameter you are assigning to?

I've had a bit luck setting up the akai using the standard rock template and using Carter as the drummer. One thing that's a bit frustrating is, as the song goes to a new part, the controls aren't available anymore. Has it been designed that way or am I missing something?

If you map brain controls then those mappings only affect the current part, since parts can have very different brain controls. However, you can save the assignments of a part in the 'Map Controller' screen and then load them into other parts.
