Drybar, please use the 3.0.1 from your download page and disable 'Multi-thread generator' in FL. We are working with ImageLine to resolve this.

That didn't fix it.

FLS Multi-threaded generator processing is off.

I renamed the original dll, and copied the 3.0.1 version to my vst directory.

I was able to start FLS by quickly clicking ok w/o entering anything on the Jamstix nag screen (FLS loaded and Jamstix was disabled) and the Jamstix GUI said 3.0.1.

If the nag screen is up for more than 5-10 seconds, FLS blue screens.

Thanks,
Don

Nag screen being the registration dialog? If so, I may have an idea what this is. What is your audio card?

Yes. The nag screen is the registration dialog. I've got a Tascam US-428 for audio.

I would try to use another host (e.g. savihost) for registration.

Some audio drivers cause a blue screen if an audio buffer is not returned quickly enough. JS3 does the reg screen during an audio buffer. We will change this in 3.0.1 but for now, please disengage the audio engine in your host before activating Jamstix.

Disabling the audio drivers before FLS load allowed me to enter the activation information. Everything seems ok.

I appreciate the explanation regarding the buffer return timing --- I understand that. If you had said 'my drivers were bad, get new drivers', I'd have a very different perspective.

Thanks for your help and good luck with the new release.

Don

The 3.0.1 Beta 2 also has a fix for the registration issue.

Hi ralph

I do not know whether this helps the cause .

I can load up 3.01 in Sonar 8.5 every time and goes along merrily.
But in Fl Studio you have to have that orange Multi Threaded Generator button disengaged for it to not make FL disappear and BSOD.
No other way will work (could be a wrapper thing)

We're trying to find a fix but it takes longer since we cannot duplicate it on any of our machines.

Very Happy Yes bios update has done the trick

THANKS RALPH FOR HELPING ME OUT ON THIS.

I think now that people who have come from XP to Win 7 need to look at the bios seriously.
like you said it was not very hard to do after you follow instructions to the letter.
