Hi, I had things all working on Windows Vista 64 with Jamstix 2, but for some reason I cannot not get any input/output running now that I have moved to Windows 7. I'm quite sure I'm just being stupid.

A) Is there a set of install instructions for Win7/64 and Sonar 64? (my guess is there already is, but I have just missed it.) -

B) I have seen where you say this will work will with JS3 but will we need a 32bit bridge utility? I have seen that 8.5.x has support for JS.

Thanks in advance...!

Could you elaborate more on where you are stuck?

Hi, Thanks for your reply:

I had said:

Where I am stuck is that in Sonar I have setup Jamstix like I think I should; I add a audio track, setup jamstix as a VST insturment, then on a midi track I set the output to that audio track. But no matter what I try I can't get Jamstix to start with Sonar. I get no audio out from Jamstix, it never starts with either the audio of midi of Sonar. In short, its like Sonar is not commnicating with Jamstix. Nothing triggers Jamstix to start with Sonar.

Again- I't quite likely I'm being stupid; its been quite a while since I set up Jamstix and I may have missed something simple. That's why I was hoping there was a guide or an FAQ on this or something....

Thanks again,

Please try this on a new project:

- add JS to the synth rack with all audio outputs and MIDI track checked
- start Sonar and JS bar/beat counter should be synched to Sonar's
