I'm not sure what is going on there but if this still happens with Beta A9, please send me your Live project so I can try to duplicate.

Ralph. I'm also using Ableton Live 8. I find Live's Session View to be completely amazing when I want to try out new ideas. Therefore I really love LiveLoop but I have one thing stopping me from having this great workflow in place. When I trigger the next part of the song in Ableton Live it continues to the one I triggered after the next bar . I would love if JS3 could do the same instead of having to play the whole part completely before changing. An example: Sometimes I'm trying out different part lengths and repeat a clip in Ableton Live maybe 5 times and if JS is playing let's say a Chorus part set to 4 bars JS won't change to the next part until 3 bars later. That is of course since I have sett the Chorus to 4 bars since I want to use repeat and transition fills. Would love if it could react to a trigger part change right at the next upcoming bar. At least to have an option somewhere to choose between the way it is today and my proposal.
Does my explanation make any sense? Please say no if you don't get what I'm after and I'll try to explain it a bit better.
