It's probably something dumb I'm doing or not doing. Jamcussion installs and takes the registration.
New styles in the Quickstart are there and the kits are listed under kits.
Drums are there in the data folder but when a Quickstart Jamcussion rhythm is brought up, another default kit will be loaded instead. Trying to load a Jamcussion kit and the not loaded message comes up and no sounds. The size indicator does show the approx 65 MB size, but nothing.
All other kits and styles work like before.
Thanks for any thoughts

Should mention that this is in Reaper ver 3.05 and the same behavior with Jamstix 2.5.2 betas 5 and 7.

If you want to load a Jamcussion kit, click the percussion icon in the top bar of JS2 first and then load a kit from the 'Jamcussion' folder. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ralph,
Thanks for your quick reply. Looks like a “need to prime the pump” thing. It has to be reset each session unlike the other kits, but one extra step is no barrier.
All the GUI’s came up (geez, was that just a massive gong that went by) and all is working.
I was going to pass on Jamcussion. Would have missed a major expansion (there goes the gong again).
Regards,
John |

Uh...looked thru the forum about this but guess I could have read the FAQ first. Sorry.
