|
|
Hi!
I'm only using midi files and no styles in Jamstix so this is an important area for me. At the moment I'm working with Addictive Drums and everything seems fine.
I usually let JS play variations, drag them into live, sort the best bars and hand edit them. In the next round I export those sequences as midi files and import them in JS again. I just use the Addictive Drums midi import in JS and as I said it works.
But I want to switch to Superior 2 and there is no midi file import for it, so what should i do then?
Or when I even would use a custom mapping I'd make in drum racks?
Wouldn' it just be enough if JS would import the midi notes 1:1 as they are mapped in the kit menu? Is there a way to do that?
Thanx! |

Please use 'GM' mode when importing S2.0 MID files. Future versions of Jamstix are planned to include a custom import mode based on the current kit assignment as you've suggested. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
