please Ralph, lucky, anyone care to enlighten me how i can try my hand at skinning Jamstix? ive searched but find no 'definitive' post on a skin.zip or HOWTO or anything of that nature...so i figured i'd just ask.

Just install a skin that uses a lot of features, like my Nihilistic Skin oddly enough, and then open the skin_nihilistic directory. There you will find all the bitmaps that you can replace with your own ones (leave the names as they are). Furthermore you'll find a config file called skin.cfg with all the settings for that skin. Open this file, it is almost self explanatory.
Try to change some (position) values in the CFG file, change some bitmaps and see what happens. For any changes you need to restart Jamstix or:
You may want to add the parameter SkinRefresh=1 to the [General] section of your jamstix2.ini(!!!!) file so you can reload the current skin by left-clicking on the brain bulb image so you can instantly test config and bitmap changes.
