The only one we can guarantee before Christmas is the MetalPak. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Great news !
I'm especially looking forward to the Percussion Pak.
From the name it sounds like it will integrate into JS 2.1 instead of being a separate plugin ?
Hope you will be able to trigger external modules, too, since there are so many potentially useful percussive sounds around that can easily be substituted for a "classic" percussion instrument.
Cheers,
Rhino |

Yes, the hand percussion will integrate into JS2 instead of being a separate plugin. We've found that to be more efficient in terms of workflow, integration and CPU usage. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Which instruments are planned for the hand percussion pack? Congas, shakers, tambourine, triangle, anything else? I'm excited about the percussion pack. |

Uhmm... sounds very interesting.
A question: will the percussion instruments interact with each other while creating the grooves? (all instruments playing at the same time).
Right now I have to program each instrument, one by one in EZDrummer (using Latin Percussion), first congas, then shaker, etc. I hardly use it because of that.
Willy.

I guess the Kit interface would have to be redesigned to integrate all the percussion instruments, or maybe the percussion will use a different page?

Thanks Ralph, that's what I thought.
What about my first question?

The percussion add-on will give you groove, accent and fill brain aspects just as the drums do. The brain will produce an organic performance using three separate pairs of hands covering all sounds.
So, together with the percussion hands of the drum brain you can have 4 percussionists drumming away at the same time. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
