This is the release candidate #11 for the upcoming 2.0.19 update, which will be an official release of all hotfixes to date. The updater also includes a new skin, the new Brad Bush groovemaps, updated kits and the missing drumstick samples.

Go to your Rayzoon download page to download this update. Please let us know if you have any issues with it!

Changes since hotfix 2.0.19-RC9

  • hihat CC4 now works in drum module mode with 'Map GM' enabled
  • 'Map GM' status is now stored in the song and not the kit
  • fixed fill and recomp trigger in liveloop mode
  • child windows now open within host context
  • optimized composition and limb control code reduces CPU spikes during composition

Changes since hotfix 2.0.19-RC8

  • fixed incorrect controller routing when using liveloops
  • fixed potential threading problem when rapidly loading kits one after another
  • fixed MIDI export/output issues introduced in last beta
  • improved tracking ensures Noteoff of last MIDI output note when stopping and also during subhost/external VSTi auditing
  • randomizer no longer affects groove importer format
  • fixed missing end crash in endings introduced in last beta

Changes since hotfix 2.0.19-RC5

  • controller selection via moving hardware now also works for non-brain controls
  • improved GUI behavior when user is moving a knob while the part is changing
  • the timing of notes is now split into the feel timing (-47 to 47ms) and the time offset (1/48, 1/32 or 1/24 note)
  • fixed issues with mapped controllers in liveloop mode
  • added seperate power variation controls for snare and hihat/ride to the feel section of the player models
  • fixed error when loading controller mappings on non-brain control
  • added 'Mute Accents' and 'Mute Fills' to song menu
  • extended control abilities of skinning system
  • having no style or drummer model will now still set the composition flag to avoid repeat comp cycles costing CPU resources
  • fixed problem with some downbeat notes playing a bit early on systems with higher latency
  • Quickstart window can now be closed with ESC key
  • part edit window and MIDI mapper can now be closed with ENTER key
  • saving a song now updates the song name shown in the song sheet
  • selecting a MIDI controller via moving hardware and then hitting ENTER works now
  • several minor fixes

Changes since hotfix 2.0.19-RC3

  • skinning system now supports non-standard DPI display settings
  • added 'Extract Part' to bar menu
  • fixed sound sometimes skipping with FL Studio and 'Fixed Buffer Size' unchecked
  • fixed kit and event auditing via MIDI-Out being disabled by last beta
  • added loaded quickstart song name to song sheet (new skins only)
  • 'Power Hand' now offers 4 degress of hihat opening instead of 2
  • added ini parameter to suppress panel mouse moving on Linux/Wine (BlockMouseMove=1)
  • max core bars per parts has been raised from 16 to 64

Changes since hotfix 2.0.18

  • implemented basic skinning support and two new skins ("Simple" and "Cymbolize")
  • added 'Animal' drummer
  • fixed some fill issues
  • fixed MIDI import problems with MIDI files that use pitch bends
  • fixed (benign) error message, occuring sometimes when loading a song, style or player while moving the mouse over the brain area
  • fixed remaining MIDI-to-host issues with Ableton Live 6 (not 5)
  • manual load operations that affect the brain (i.e. loading a part from disk) now properly refresh the brain display
  • added support for 'MaxTrim' ini parameter to extend input trim range. Default is 600.
  • added VST automation parameters 'Reduction' and 'Timing'
  • improved reduction logic
  • added visual bar offset option
  • several minor fixes
  • importing a JS1 groove with shuffle now only sets the part (not the song) to its required settings

Changes since hotfix 2.0.17

  • fixed error when clicking in the bar editor in specific ways while host is running
  • fixed missing or dual MIDI key assignments in all kits
  • fixed brain menu not displaying when going from drum module mode to a jam mode
  • fixed problem with halftime mode note placement, introduced in earlier hotfix
  • fixed brain elements not always displaying, introduced in earlier hotfix
  • fixed 'odd drum icons' when importing JS1 fills that use the old tom bounce samples
  • Timing, Shuffle, Min Dyn and timeline sliders now operate smoother
  • when saving a kit, Jamstix 2 now warns if MIDI keys are not assigned, or more than once
  • when manually adding a note to the fill aspect of a non-fill bar, the bar is now automatically flagged as a fill

Exciting liveloop hotfixes in Jamstix 2.0.19-RC11, thanks!

Just noticed that when I click anywhere on the background image that has no function assigned, I get a 'Cannot create file e:/screenshot.jpg' pop-up message.

PS: I have SkinRefresh turned on.
