|
|
Hi there,
JS2 is not responding to 'audio in' when in 'Jam with audio' mode and running in SAVIhost 1.3. When running JS1 in SAVIhost with the same settings everything is fine. When running JS2 in Cubase SL 2 and using the M8 insert effect everything is ok and JS2 does respond to audio in.
Regards,
Lucky |

JS2 has no audio input as it wasn't a much-used feature and did cause hiccups in some hosts that didn't expect VSTi instruments to have audio inputs. You could try wrapping audioM8.dll with SAVIHost since audioM8 sends its data to JS2 no matter how they are loaded. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for the info. I got it working with VSTHost which does the job.
A minor glitch: the pop-up window that comes up when going over the small triangle of a song part could be positioned a few pixels to the left, so that it covers the triangle completely when shown. Now when you move your mouse directly down, the window disappears sometimes while having auto-pop feature on. |

| Not to be picky, but maybe it is good to add this point to the manual. It now states that Jamstix has been successfully tested with SAVIHOst. |

Well, it does work fine with SAVIHost. Audio input is VERY unusual for a VSTi (instrument). And the fact that one cannot run audioM8 and Jamstix 2 at the same time in SAVI is not a limitation of JS2 but one of SAVI. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
