Hi-
Just starting to spend some time with Jamstix (got in on the Group Buy, so glad I did!) and I'm loving every minute.
Re Free Jam: What's the quickest way to start from scratch with nothing playing back from the previous "take"? I know about the "Reset" button on the Free Jam screen, but that doesn't clear everything. Is there a one-click or other way to do this?
I know, it's probably in the manual...
TIA-

| Check out the "Clear All" button on the arrangement tab. Is that what you're looking for? |

Sort of. Maybe I'm imagining things, but I thought I was able to start a Free Jam with no drums at all to begin. Now whenever I press Play in SONAR I get a basic rock/pop beat that I never consciously chose, even after pressing "Clear All". It doesn't really clear it, it just sets it to a basic 4/4 rhythm.
I just want to start with a clean slate, if that's possible.
Thanks-

If you want the drums to be mute in the beginning (or any other bar), go to the arranger, click 'Mute' and then click the bars in question so they turn black. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ok, thanks. And if I want a different default rhythm to jam to I just load it into the 1st Arranger track?
Thanks-
-Susan
P.S. Sorry for the newbie questions. I printed out the manual, I'm sure this is all in there, will dig in soon... |
