Tried it with Reaper, and Live loops work fine.

Tried it with Reaper + Legree/VSTHostSS and it worked remote to VSThost fine fine. So I guess it is Usine.

I put Jamstix in VSTHostSS

I put legree VST in Usine

I did notice the stop/run of the engine works in vsthost, but stopping is glitchy. It immediately stops the audio, and glitches and chokes.

Using live loops the midi trigger is program change.
Can I change this to another midi bit?

I was trying Project5 and it seems to not be able to create a program change in a midi clip.

How do you get jamstix to just not automatically play?
