Thanks Ralph. I freed up 5 GB of space and everything is now installed. The "stream read error" is pretty generic. Any way to change that output to something more specific?

Well, am I making progress? I've uninstalled jamstix several times, the reinstalled, and each time it comes across a new file that it will load. then it comes to one it can't, so I uninstall and then ...
