Cant you do that with parts?
set up a 3 bar part - no reps then the 5 bars as a new part with different brain settings ?

I had my first real play with hotfix 17 yesterday. I too had several instances of the brain not repainting. e.g click on style in a song part:

After (or before or during) that you can make (for instance) the kick pattern YOU want by disabling the Kick option in the Brain and manually entering the kicks in te Core bars. This should ... |

Agreed.
I made a table for how each of the drummers pplayed my groove noting how much they "fooled around" with the groove / accent / fills.
Its been a useful crib sheet before tweaking the bra ... |

Couple of Accent issues:
1) I set Toms slider to far left which I understand to mean DONT
play any Toms and it still does.
2) Accents are added but DONT play. e.g Left S ... |

Style = Silent
Drummer = All of them in turn.
I set up a 3 Core bar part with 4 reps.
Core bar is a Kick on 1 & 3 - HH triplets on 2 & 4.

JS2 kits have mixer settings saved in them. If you wish to retain you current mixer settings, check the box 'Lock Mixer' in the kit loading page.
