Thank you! That did the trick. I completely missed the menus hidden in the Kit menu. But the settings there pertain to kit and percussion. You can't have different settings for either.

OK, even that problem I managed to solve myself. There is a jamstix3.ini file which requires an additional line: "DPIXOverride=150" did the trick for me.

OK, I figured it out: the problem was that the VST-Folder wasn't in the search path of Cubase 8, I had to manually add it, then it worked.

Fixed that one by realizing that only one license file is needed which includes both -- Jamstix and Jamcussion. Put that in the installation folder and everything worked just fine.

I managed to fix this problem by re-installing Jamstix. It seems that I had copied an old .ini file over the new one and it had some messed up paths and settings in it.
