I think there should be a Jamstix 4 - MIDI Layout.jpg in your C:\ProgramData\Jamstix4\data\docs folder but here's a link to a copy of it if you don't have it.

So to some extent my midi file has to 'track' the structure of my piece?

Also, the best way to use MIDI files with JS is to use the 'Import' style.
What do you mean ? Do you mean "Load" a style in the drummer brain instead of a particular drummer? |

what i have found with the DAW's ive tried over the years is most have TONS of features, and most of them dont work well (unstable, limited, etc..) and/or require BIG learning cur ... |

Traktion is supposed to be simple and intuitive and what i need is Simple, Intuitive AND STABLE with VST Fx and VSTi's - does Traktion deliver this better than Acid?
