Yup - that's what was happening.
Then I figured it out. Clicking the # of BPM in SaviHost starts and stops Jamstix. That's probably obvious, but it was over my head at the time.  |

There is no lag. Also, if you record your jam and then play it back, Jamstix repeats the jam in MIDI (not audio) so it will always sync.
I might be missing something here, but would it be possible ... |
