On #1, The problem is that by the time I've heard a recompose of a bar that I like, it's already over before I can decide. I have to stop the song to lock it.

Did some more stuff in Jamstix, and everything is working correctly.

I took a look at the original midi sequence from EZ Drummer, and found that the hats were on the E-2 key. So, no wonder they didn't translate!
The hats also play (in EZ Drummer) on D3 or E3 (Tight E ...

When I first got Jamstix, I thought that dragging a midi file straight in from
a folder was not possible. Just tried it, and it works...awesome!
